I'm Tim - Founder of Race Home
Running has always been the thing that keeps me grounded. It’s where I find clarity, perspective, and a sense of belonging. Dartmoor is my playground, and over the years running has introduced me to some truly special people and experiences.
Race Home grew from that. I wanted to create something that gives other runners the same sense of connection — experiences that don’t just centre on the race itself, but on the people, the places, and the moments around it.
Race Home was created to pass that feeling on — to create shared experiences that help people discover, or rediscover, their love of running through connection, support, and time spent together.
A home for race weekends
Race Home was created to make race weekends feel different.
Too often, racing means travelling alone, staying somewhere impersonal, and managing logistics while trying to focus on the challenge ahead. You arrive, race, and leave — surrounded by people, but often feeling on your own.
Race Home exists to change that.
We bring people together for shared race weekends, staying under one roof, eating together, travelling together, and supporting one another before, during, and after the race. The focus isn’t just on performance — it’s on connection, care, and the shared experience.
Why Race Home exists
Race weekends carry a lot of meaning. Months of training, early mornings, self-doubt, excitement, and nerves all lead to a few important days.
Those days deserve more than rushed meals and quiet hotel rooms.
Race Home was built around a simple belief:
race weekends should feel human.
We create calm, welcoming spaces where people can settle in, prepare together, and feel supported — whether it’s your first race or your fiftieth.
Who Race Home is for
Race Home is for people who:
- Love racing, but don’t want to do it alone
- Are travelling solo or in pairs
- Value connection as much as the challenge
- Want race weekend to feel calmer and more supported
- Appreciate good food, shared effort, and community
You don’t need to be fast.
You don’t need to know anyone beforehand
You just need to show up
Our approach
We believe:
- Every pace belongs
- Every finish line counts
- Community makes hard things easier
- Thoughtful planning removes unnecessary stress
Race Home is not about competition or comparison. It’s about creating an environment where people can focus on their own race — while feeling part of something shared.
Looking ahead
Race Home is intentionally growing slowly.
Our focus is on delivering meaningful experiences, building a community people return to, and choosing events that lend themselves to shared weekends — places people want to spend time, not just race through.
As Race Home grows, the heart of what we do will stay the same:
small groups, shared spaces, and race weekends that feel welcoming and human.
Welcome home
If you’ve ever wished race weekend felt more connected —
or if you simply want a place where you can arrive and feel at ease —
Race Home is for you.
Welcome home.
